
Our Create + Develop Week is back! – This time we’re offering even more opportunities to learn, explore and create.
From planning your own exhibitions, learning how to photograph your work, marketing, creative workshops and more, there’s a whole range of informative and engaging sessions across the week that you can get involved with.
All of the sessions are free, but we’re asking for donations to support the Adur & Worthing Trust and to help keep events free at Colonnade House.

Whether you have an upcoming exhibition at Colonnade House or you’re thinking of planning one in the future, you can find out everything you’ll need to know from how to hire the space, promotion and marketing, to curating.

Together We Fold: Adults Workshop
Tuesday 13 May 2025 // 11.00 – 13.00 // Free
In celebration of Mental Health Awareness Week, Emily from Femigami will be hosting Together We Fold, where you’ll be able to fold your own origami heart, sybmolising connection, support and shared hope.
You can do this from the comfort of you own home and request a free digital origmai heart making instructions and fold as many as you like to be dropped off at the gallery by Saturday 17th of May which will then be added to a display in the gallery.

Whether you’re an artist, maker or small business owner, learn how to transform your website and socials using photography. The team at Colonnade House will cover the basics, leaving the rest of the session free to try out some of these techniques with your own work.
Bring no more than three pieces of your work and have a go at using our plinths, hanging system and ERCO lighting system to photograph your work in the gallery with some guidance from the team.

Together We Fold: Families Workshop

On Saturday, Emily from Femigami will be running her Together We Fold workshop for children and families. Drop-in and fold your own origami heart that can be added to the display made earlier in the week from the first workshop.
