Clair McKinney-Williams is the face behind What’s Up Birdie, a colourful and unique brand with designs and accessories all made to order.

Celebrate the works of our Studio Members and guest artists as they fill they gallery with handmade gifts, original artwork and more for a truly festive December.

Late Night Shopping

We’re going to be joined by lots of independent shops to bring you festive late night shopping on Thursday evening. Shop small and shop local this Christmas and discover the wonderful independents that make up Worthing.

CAY College

CAY College will be exhibiting their work in the gallery for the first time this month.
We’ll be joined by students displaying a variety of work all designed, made and crafted whilst at CAY College.

Do you have an idea for an exhibition? Shutter Hub will support curators in creating a series of online exhibitions with the support of their team. Curators can choose their own theme, create a call for entries, select the images and curate the show. Find out more about how to apply here.

Celebrating the visual aspect of flowers, flora and plants, Sussex based artists are invited to take part in Sussex Contemporary’s February 2026 exhibition at BN9 Studios, Newhaven. Find out more about how to get involved here.
ARTCRY // Funding // Open deadline
ARTCRY supports artists to make time critical, political work in UK public spaces. They offer grants of up to £2,500 and they are currently interested in funding work around transparency and accountability in democracy and the fight for human rights and equaltiy. Left, Right & Everything In Between // Open Call // Deadline 10 December // £25 – £30
Left, Right and Everything In Between is a small scale exhibition for disabled artists, prioritising A5 prints. The theme focuses on journeys, detours and different ways of navigating the world.
