Carole Morris and Richard Fisher are members of Tarring Art Club, drawn together by their shared passion for art. Both are individual artists with a lifelong love for creativity, honed through self-teaching and exploration. Although their paths have run parallel, careers and family lives often placed art on the back burner until retirement allowed them to fully dedicate themselves to their craft.
Their styles, while distinct, complement each other beautifully, making this joint exhibition a celebration of their mutual appreciation for art. They create realistic images with a painterly quality, reflecting a shared goal of capturing life with both detail and expression.
Each artist works across multiple media, including watercolour, pastel, acrylic and oils, and they explore a diverse range of subjects. From portraits and landscapes to seascapes, moonscapes, wildlife, pop art, urban scenes, botanical studies and still life, their works showcase versatility and creativity.
Both Carole and Richard have separately competed in the Worthing Portrait Artist of the Year competition, highlighting their individual talents and dedication to their craft. Through this exhibition, they present their unique perspectives while celebrating the passion for art that continues to inspire them.
