Colonnade House Creative Hub is delighted to welcome Alan James McLeod to the gallery this April. Alan’s richly textured and visceral work demands to be seen. To be investigated in person, explored and confronted. Explaining more about his process and journey, Alan says:

Moving to Worthing four years ago was the catalyst for becoming an artist full time. Previously my work had been inspired by the coastal landscape of my previous home. Looking at the weathering of natural and man-made surfaces, revealing a multi-layered history.

My work is now based on imagined relics and artefacts, music and memory, I create highly textural works on paper and fabric, producing mainly abstract pieces, that allow the viewer their own interpretation.
