Unlock the art of transforming photographs into embroidered artworks. Embroidery artist Becky Edmunds will guide you through the basics in this playful workshop. Learn the techniques needed to stitch into paper or card, master a variety of stitches to create pattern and texture and put these skills to use to stitch a photograph.
This workshop suits all skill levels, whether you are an embroidery novice or an experienced stitcher looking to expand your practice.

About Becky Edmunds
Becky Edmunds, a former dancer and choreographer turned filmmaker, has turned her attention to textiles and embroidery since the onset of lockdown. Enjoying the meditative qualities of this craft, she is also fascinated by the history of embroidery, discovering a wealth of radical artists who have defied stereotypical thinking of what embroidery can do.
