Brush Strokes Exhibition

Three local artists – Pat Duff, Vic Davis and Laurie Hearn will be exhibiting some of their finest pieces of artworks, both framed and unframed, along with mounted prints and cards.

Featuring a variety of genres, including landscapes, wildlife, abstracts, cities, seascapes and life subjects, these paintings make beautiful additions to a variety of home settings. They are also fabulous gift ideas if anyone is struggling to find a thoughtful present for friends or family members. You will find a great selection of oils, acrylics and watercolours in various styles.

Pat, Vic and Laurie are members of local art groups, including the Arundel Art Society, Arun Art Society and East Preston Art Group, so any purchases will be supporting the local art community.

Pat Duff is a well known artist around Worthing, with many of his pieces on display at various venues around Worthing and Arundel, including the NRG Cavern, La Campania and the Montague Gallery. His artwork is heavily inspired by the photography from his travels to Peru, Botswana and Italy, amongst many other locations. You can find more of his work at www.patduffsart.com.

Laurie Hearn will include watercolours from his annual visits to Venice which is an artist’s dream location. He will also exhibit paintings from his time in the Western Cape of South Africa plus a speciality for British Winter landscapes. He has undertaken several commissions and been successful at local exhibitions.

Vic Davis will exhibit mostly watercolours, and some acrylics, focussed primarily around subjects including architectural buildings, churches, pubs, people, landscapes and marine scenes. He gets a lot of inspiration from his local East Preston beach and is an active member of several local art groups, often taking commissions and exhibiting at local exhibitions.
