For one week in the gallery, the students will be displaying a variety of work designed, made & crafted whilst at CAY College.
An introduction to CAY College
CAY College is an independent alternative provision that provides a safe and nurturing space for children to develop life skills. CAY is led and pioneered by a small specialist team, who between them have over fifty years of experience in education and young people’s welfare. At CAY, they are dedicated to empowering their students through exceptional education experiences that help to inspire students and set them onto their future pathway.
Lillie, a student at CAY College says; “As someone who was one of the first students, and is now a student voice, I feel it’s important I should say a few words. CAY has been a place where I could really grow into myself, it has helped me to think independently, explore new ideas and build confidence in my voice. One thing I love about CAY is the teachers, and how supportive they are. It is obvious how much they love and care about their students and the college they have built. They want everyone to succeed, not just in college but outside of it too.”
