Chris Prince: Wild Joy
My name is Chris Prince and when I’m not delivering mail, I’m out observing and photographing nature in its many forms.
I come from Crawley in West Sussex and have lived and worked there most of my life.
I started taking a keen interest in birds over 30 years ago and the photography just seemed to naturally follow on from it. Also becoming aware of so many other natural delights flora and fauna wise.
I guess I’m just naturally curious, always looking at behaviour of wildlife and hopefully trying to photograph it, so that I can share it with others, making as many people as I can aware of our wonderful natural world and by doing so, giving nature the help it so desperately needs.
I volunteered with the RSPB at Pulborough Brooks for many years, helping with various jobs from surveys, guided walks and maintenance on the reserve, also helping move the cattle (a particular favourite of mine).
I’ve been lucky enough to have travelled to a lot of places in the British Isles and abroad, Africa holding a very special place in my heart.
So, if you happen to be passing, pop in and say hello and compare stories. It would be great to see you.
Best wishes, Chris Prince.
