Chromatica is a celebration of colour showcasing three local artists whose work is vibrant, bold and contemporary.
Basia Asztabska
Basz. Design (aka Basia Asztabska) is a photographer and graphic designer who combines geometric shapes, simple lines, and natural landscapes. She uses these elements to create a contrast between the raw, wild beauty of nature and the clean, minimal order of design. Starting with digital photography, she adds bold colours and shapes to transform familiar scenes into something new and fresh.
For this exhibition, Basia’s work explores how colour and simple forms can bring out the balance between the raw beauty of the natural world and the structure she creates.

Erin Cain
Onyx Studio (by Erin Cain) creates contemporary, hand poured, colour-led concrete homeware. Mixing bespoke tones from raw pigment, she focuses on bold, unique colour-ways in functional, modern forms. Clean lines and simple shapes; both geometric and organic, nod to mid century influences. The hand pouring process celebrates organic texture and pattern forming unique objects for the home.
