Liz English Exhibition 2022

An inspiring exhibition of affordable artwork; showcasing the talents of local artists and makers.

With a buzz of creative activities and workshops for all ages focusing on Creative Waves’ current projects.

1st week

‘Art in Motion’ – Creative workshops celebrating the illustrative skills of local children in response to the latest exhibition on Worthing Pier.

Screening the 6 animations created by Sam Harper Holding, inspired by the children’s artwork.

2nd week

‘Growing Together’ – Creative activities inspired by nature and Bugcycle Community Garden in Beach House Park. Highlighting the environmental focus of the green space, and the health & wellbeing benefits for the local community.

Pop in and say hello to Nessy & Nadia and the team of young artists and designers.

Workshops;

Whittle a wooden spoon with Elbie Owens // Wednesday 30 October // 14.30 – 16.30

Spend a couple of hours whittling your own wooden spoon using a knife and traditional techniques. Crafted from windblown wood in Sussex and finished with beeswax. Material and tools provided. Hosted by Elbie, an experienced greenwood tutor.

All participants will be required to follow the health and safety regulations. A designated First Aider will be on site. 18+ only.
