Finding the Creative Path with Peon Boyle
Wednesday 29 September // 10.00 – 13.30 // Free // Booking essential
3 hour interactive session including artist talk, questions and conversations.

A Playful conversation about Finding the Creative Path is an interactive artist conversation reflecting on Peon Boyle’s creative journey, from beginning with a table and a chair at the top floor of Colonnade House, to developing a creative practice today. Using her experience as a starting point, the session explores how creative paths develop through curiosity, experimentation, detours, persistence and play. Rather than presenting a conventional artist talk or skills-based workshop, it invites a broader conversation about what it means to develop and sustain a creative life.

The three-hour session combines an illustrated talk with moments of audience participation, reflection and discussion. Peon will share key moments from her journey, including returning to art, developing her practice through further study, experimenting with materials and processes, and gradually building a more professional creative life. These stories will lead into playful, accessible activities and open conversations that encourage participants to consider their own creative experiences. The session will conclude with an extended Q&A and discussion, allowing the audience to bring their own questions, uncertainties and experiences into the conversation.

This is a genuinely in-person opportunity, real work you can get up close to, touch, and ask questions about. Real experiences shared honestly, and real questions explored together in the room, in real time.
