Fringe & Fibres
Tuesday 17 – Saturday 21 June// 10.00 – 17.00
For Worthing Festival 2025, we’re showcasing the work of local fashion designers, quilters, surface designers, weavers, stitchers & mixed media textile artists for a fibre based exhibition at Colonnade House, 17 – 21 June 2025.
Throughout the week there will be the opportunity to take part in a series of workshops run by local artists taking part in the exhibition. Spaces on the workshops will be limited so ensure you book your place to not miss out! Find out more about the workshops taking place below.

Crochet Round the Bend
Friday 20 June // 13.00 – 15.00 // £10
Learn Hyperbolic crochet along with some creative knitting with Karen, Jane & Virginia.
Sound complicated? It’s easy! They will cover the basics of Chain and Double Crochet to help you create a Brain Coral, Scrunchie or an ingenious never ending Fidget Toy based on the Moebius Strip. The workshop is suitable for any level and will be demonstrated for both left and right handed participants.
All proceeds from the workshop will go to supporting the Adur & Worthing Trust.

Lino Printing onto Fabric with Suzy Riot
Saturday 21 June // 11.00 – 13.00 // £25 // WORKSHOP CANCELLED
Join Suzy Riot for this short workshop and learn how to make a simple linocut stamp to be printed onto fabric.
Time during the workshop will be limited so if possible, come along with your design ready to go, ideally a bold shape or pattern and A6 in size or come along with your best ideas to get designing straight away.
All equipment will be provided including inks, lino blocks, cutting tools and paper for drawing. If you’d like your design printed onto an item of clothing, please bring this along with you or patches can be provided.
Stitch it, Don’t Ditch it Family Workshop
Saturday 21 June // 15.00 – 17.00 // Free
CREW are bringing their popular Stitch it, Don’t Ditch session to Colonnade House for the afternoon. Join in with their supportive sessions where you can learn to repair, revamp, share skills and help make the most out of your clothes.
The workshop will be free, but there will be donation pots on the day to help cover the costs of running their events.
