Hagstone Workshop with David Parker

Tuesday 05 August // 10.30 – 12.30 & 13.30 – 16.30 // Free

A hagstone is a flint pebble with a naturally occuring hole and can be found on beaches in the UK. In folklore, they are believed to posess magical properties and looking through the hole is said to reveal hidden things. You can read more about hagstones in this article by Alex Woodcock here.

In this workshop with David, you will create your own individual hagstone viewer and one giant one that will be in the gallery looking out. If you have a hagstone already, you’re more than welcome to bring this along to the workshop to use to create your viewer.

Book your place on David’s workshop here.
