About the Artist:
Josephine Nobile is a Swiss born artist, who resided in Iceland for several years before finding a new home in Worthing, UK. She has a background in textiles, fine art and design. Her artistic practice is deeply influenced by her love of colour, nature, the sea and her inner world. Through her work she explores themes of emotion, transformation, and personal growth, drawing inspiration from her own experiences and the world around her, but also from colour schemes used in design and interiors.
Josephine’s art is a way of processing and expressing feelings that words often can’t capture. It’s a form of release. Each piece is created with the hope of resonating with others on a human and emotional level, offering a moment of connection and reflection.
About the exhibition: Echoes of Emotion
In Echoes of Emotion, Josephine reflects on the lingering effects of emotions that shape our lives, some of which may lay hidden or uncovered. The exhibition captures the ripples of feelings like joy, tranquility, isolation, love, longing and transformation.
Set in an intimate gallery space, the exhibition offers a deeply personal glimpse into Josephine’s creative process while inviting viewers to reflect on their own emotional journeys. Each pieces explores the idea that emotions, whether fleeting or enduring, leave behind traces that resonate through time, influencing how we grow and connect with the world.
Echoes of Emotion is about embracing vulnerability and celebrating the strength found in self-expression. It is an exploration of the ways we carry and interpret feelings, offering an open space for viewers to find their own meaning within the art.
