Returning to Colonnade House is Letterpress Printer and Typographic designer Tom Boulton AKA typetom.com 

With over 10 years’ experience in Letterpress printing & designing for both trade & personal clients, Tom has worked with a wide variety of people and organizations on contemporary design and print commissions for clients including Tate Modern, Southbank Centre, V&A, Fortnum & Mason and the Design Museum. Alongside his time designing and printing Tom spends considerable time teaching others about the joys of letterpress and has taught at a number locations across the country including Ditchling Museum of Art + Craft, West Dean College of Arts & Conservation and of course out of his own workshop based in Bognor Regis.

Tom will be transforming both gallery spaces into a version of his print workshop, showcasing a large selection of his latest experimental typographic letterpress prints and products. 

In addition to this Tom will also be bringing some of his latest developments to show, including his developments in wood type making and his ever ambitious concepts of making new letterpress equipment, utilizing affordable modern technology including 3D printing and cnc milling.

As a bonus to the event Tom is offering the chance to get hands on and inky with a selection of both his new and vintage wood type, with the opportunity to book a 1 to 1 print workshop session with Tom each day.
