Liz English Exhibition 2022

The exhibition is a collection of semi-abstract and contemporary pieces with central themes of the coastline and riverside and how the weather and nature interacts and changes our beautiful landscape.

The exhibition will include 25 – 30 pieces that were created between 2024 and 2026. The medium used in all pieces is oil paint, either with brushes or palette knife upon various forms of background.

The collection of art combines various kinds of weather, differing landscapes and how these factors continually alter the appearance, movement and our feeling of witnessing the ocean or rivers.

The capturing of a moment in time of nature’s oceans, rivers, landscapes and weather is brought together in a semi-abstract, and sometimes contemporary, softly textured style.

All of the pieces are representations of seascapes in Worthing and the River Thames in London.

Michael Harbour is a local artist living in Worthing, who, whilst carrying out commissioned works has also exhibited pieces at Worthing’ Museum, Montague Gallery and at Colonnade House.
