Natalia Samarina: My Art
Natalia Samarina is an aspiring artist who started her journey a couple of years ago. In her works she uses various oil painting techniques inspired by the beauty of nature and the works of Monet, Aivazovsky, Cezanne, Renoir, Pissarro and Shishkin.
After moving to Sussex from Moscow a few years ago, the extraordinary beauty of the coast, hills and surrounding nature stirred her imagination. The beauty and grace of nature, the warmth of the sun’s rays, the hearth and friendly smiles – everything that creates harmony and light captivates her pleasures of painting.
It all started with an online drawing course she took with her youngest son. “It was something extraordinary, magical, exciting and revealed a dormant feeling deep inside. You know your desires!” Natalia recalls.
This is Natalia’s first exhibition presenting some paintings of different scenes.
Natalia continues to study paint and is very much looking forward to welcoming you to her exhibition, sharing her passion for art and answering any questions you may have.
Natalia supports several charities and is going to donate the profits from her first exhibition to the following charities;
- Cancer Research UK
- The Max Windle Memorial Trust (child and youth mental health)
- Save the Children
- Charitable Foundation “Children – Victims of War” (humanitarian aid to children and their families in Ukraine)
