The award-winning illustrator and author Owen Davey will be exhibiting at Colonnade House from 23 – 28 November 2021. Working from his studio in Worthing, Owen creates diverse geometric illustrations which often focus on people, animals and the natural world. He is a prolific commercial illustrator with 12 years experience in the industry, spanning everything from children’s books and toys to newspapers and apps. He will be showcasing many of his illustrated books, including all 7 of his non-fiction animal series which includes ‘Smart About Sharks’, ‘Obsessive About Octopuses’ and his most recent release ‘Curious About Crocodiles’. These widely-acclaimed books have been published around the globe and won many accolades.
Come say hello and rifle through a number of books, posters, cards, pins, patches, puzzles and more that will be on sale. There should be plenty of options for Christmas presents and stocking fillers for every budget.
And on Sunday 28th, you can pop down with the family for a free drawing workshop in the morning or afternoon, where Owen will show you how he uses shapes to make it possible to draw anything.
