As part of an ongoing series that aims to help you develop your creative business, each year Colonnade House hosts several Professional Development Weeks that encompass a variety of events designed to share and build skills. This February, Colonnade House is hosting a range of informative and engaging events, including the Creative Commissions launch and sessions on funding.

Creative Commissions 2022
Adur and Worthing Trust are launching a new round of their Creative Commissions on 1st February 2022. Artists based in Adur and Worthing who want to try out a new idea can apply for a small grant. Find out more about the scheme by attending one of our launch events:

Introduction to grant funding from Arts Council England and Heritage Lottery Fund

Theatre Relationship Manager, Anna Jefferson from Arts Council England will be running an introductory session to talk you through the National Lottery Project Grant scheme including:
– The new guidance for applicants
– Recent changes to the programme and what they mean for potential applications
– Useful tips and things to remember to create strong applications
Jo McAleer National Lottery Heritage Fund Engagement Manager will be talking about the main programme – The National Lottery Grants for Heritage – which awards grants from £3,000. In the presentation she’ll be briefly covering priorities for funding, outcomes and further support.

Join Investment Officer Sam Gritt for a guided tour through local grant funding that can be accessed by creative businesses, arts organisations and artists, including how to get the best out of the free Grants Online resource and tips on what makes a good funding bid.
