Pier Road Coffee & Art is a space for coffee, cake and perusing local artwork in Littlehampton. In this exhibition the resident artists of the gallery will be paying their second visit to Colonnade House to display a diverse breadth of work, including photography, painting, textiles, illustration and jewellery.
Photographers will include Kevin Hicks, Lucy Harvey, Trevor Fryer, Anthony Plummer and Jacqui Dracup. Paintings will be from Cat McLelland, Geoff Ackroyd, Eleonora Medwell, Joanna Binstead, Nicky Bainbridge and Philippa Bower. Other works featured will be seaweed pressing by Tricia Johnson, driftwood work by Trevor Parker, textiles from Jane Taylor, ceramics by Magysart, Peppermint Candles and Retro Geek jewellery.
Cartoonist and illustrator Mike Payne will also be exhibiting his wonderful work. Mike is best known for creating “Tatty Teddy” for the “Me to You” concept for Carte Blanche Greetings. There will be an opportunity to meet him during the exhibition’s open evening.
Throughout the two weeks some of the artists will also be running classes. Tricia Johnson will be conducting workshops in seaweed pressing and beginners watercolours, while Cat McLelland will be holding drawing classes.
