As part of an ongoing series that aims to help you develop your creative business, each year Colonnade House hosts several Professional Development Weeks that encompass a variety of events designed to share and build skills. This January, Colonnade House is hosting a range of informative and engaging sessions that aim to provoke conversation and advance creative careers.

Bring your artwork, sculpture or product and have a go at photographing your work in a professional gallery setting.

Try our hanging system, use our plinths & our ERCO lighting system and photograph your work. Bring along a maximum of 3 pieces and we will show you simple techniques on how to photograph your artwork or product for social media & website. Please bring along your camera and/or smartphone for the session.

How to apply to Arts Council England’s National Lottery Project Grants

Join this introductory session with staff from Arts Council England at Colonnade House, Worthing.

Relationship Manager, Engagement & Audiences, Dulcie Alexander & Relationship Manager for Museums, Michael Cooke for the South East from Arts Council England will be running an introductory session, offering advice on applying for funding from ACE. Including;

– The new guidance for applicants

– Recent changes to the programme and what they mean for potential applications

– Useful tips and things to remember to create strong applications

– Q&A after the presentation

– Insight into our other funding stream, Developing Your Creative Practice.

Women in Business Worthing: Creativity, Courage & Connection

An evening with inspiring guests, talks and a panel discussion to help you to bring creativity into your work and life.

The event will begin at 18.30 with some informal networking followed by a keynote and a panel discussion.

Guests will be announced shortly and the ticket includes a free drink upon arrival.

Any proceeds from the event will be donated to Safe in Sussex, a local charity supporting women through domestic violence.
