As part of Colonnade House’s Professional Development Week, we have put together an easy to follow film on how to get kick started in the Instagram world – filled with all sorts of tips and tricks to get you social media savvy, so you can promote your artwork or creative business.
This session is aimed for absolute beginners so we will run through simple steps on how to get your Instagram started from scratch.

This Worthing venture has been growing fast at a time when animation is just getting more and more exciting. Inspired: Draw a Dog! 🎉COMPETITION TIME🎉
Hello everyone, how are you doing? We hope you’re not going too stir crazy and you and yours are safe and well!
Now…. you know how much we LOVE our four legged friends at Inspired, and we really miss the shop and the dogs that visit every day! So we thought we’d have a bit of fun… we invite you guys, BOTH YOUNG AND OLD, any ability, to DRAW A DOG from our DOG WATCH STORIES… when we reopen we’ll display our favourites in the window and shop dog Morse has said she’ll pick her favourite kids picture and they will win a little prize!!! .
Please make sure the pictures are no bigger than A4, that way we can fit lots in the window!
The picture can be in any style or medium! It could be 3D… maybe a use for all those loo rolls 😂… collage, drawing, painting, linocut, appliqué… the worlds your oyster!! .
DM or email your pictures and use the hashtags #inspireddrawadog and tag @inspired_worthing so we can put them on our stories straight away! We’ll get you to bring your drawings to the shop once we reopen… when that is, who knows 🤷♀️

Last Saturday we hosted the first Dad La Soul Virtual playdate saw 22 dads and 25 kids from across the UK, France and Spain spending two hours together on Zoom.
We had Lego challenges, families in different countries got to play together, we made the dads dress up in their most embarrassing clothes and did some graffiti/drawing. We also shared private conversations and stories of what it is like to live with Autism.
Most importantly we had a quiz and a scavenger hunt that included some of the difficult questions of the day like ”How many loo rolls, have your parents stockpiled’?…
