What happens when (m)others are offered the space to make, to think, and to gather?
When creativity is not something squeezed into the margins of other lives, but something given room to exist & to flourish in a place of solidarity?
Within the walls of The Madre Project, we find more than physical space. We find permission to take up space. To be something other than what is required of us. Here we safely inhabit our complexities, contradictions and multiplicities. Here our creative identities exist alongside, within, and sometimes in resistance to the demands of care.
An exhibition introducing the Resident (M)others of The Madre Project CIC.
