Celebrating the ‘Beautiful World’ of Worthing – fine art photographic exhibition
East Worthing resident Steve Gallagher is bringing a new limited edition collection of fine art photography to Worthing’s Colonnade House in Warwick Street on 22nd to 27th March. Celebrating the beauty and majesty of the natural world around us, ‘Beautiful World’ showcases striking and mesmeric seascapes with intricately detailed floral portraits. Each photograph produces a unique and bold image that adds drama and definition to any space.
‘Beautiful World’ follows on from the success of Steve’s 2021 lockdown photography series ‘From the land plenty, from the sea health’, based on Worthing’s Latin motto ‘Ex terra copiam e mari salutem’. Exhibiting locally at Ham Road Gallery, Colonnade House and West Buildings shelter, as well as at contemporary art fairs across the south of England, Steve has rapidly put himself on the fine art photography map.
Steve Gallagher graduated in Visual Design from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in the USA, and was a fashion photographer for over 10 years before developing a graphic design practice in the US and the UK. He and his family moved to Worthing in 2019, and he returned to his first love of photography during the first Covid-19 lockdown in 2020, capturing images from East Worthing beach and his own garden.
All images will be displayed as professionally printed Giclée Art prints signed by the artist and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
