Creative Commissions 2024: Charlotte Petts: Stories from the Lido

Using the Lido Cafe as a source of inspiration, audio creator Charlotte Petts has captured the stories of the regular visitors to one of Worthing’s last traditional seaside cafes. Run by the energetic Karl, this cafe is used by many as a place of refuge – offering community and affordable prices. From her visits Charlotte has created an audio piece and a ‘zine in collaboration with Bridget Prince. Come join us to listen to the stories, create your own ‘zine page and share your memories of Worthing’s seaside history.
Drop in anytime 2 – 4pm. Tea and coffee provided (and maybe the odd French Fancy!)
