‘Aspects of a seaside town’, acrylic on canvas with card, Polyfilla, plaster and found objects, © Maugan Todd

Maugan Todd has always painted and drawn since childhood, but only began to pursue it seriously upon the loss of her brother in her 40s. She studied and trained in various places all over the UK, eventually choosing to specialise in painting. Drawn to the therapeutic nature of the medium, Maugan particularly enjoys capturing the colour and structure of flowers using watercolours, acrylics and applique.
