The talented SOLD trainees will be taking over Colonnade House showcasing their artworks and screening their Oska Bright film festival entries for a week.

SOLD (Shoreham opportunities for learning differences) offer purposeful and meaningful work experience to adults with learning differences in a realistic charity shop setting. The aim is to train them with work related skills that they can take on to future placements.

As some of the long-term SOLD trainees demonstrated amazing artistic and creative abilities, the SOLD studio was set-up. This showcases their talents in a range of products that are now sold in store – from cards and cushions, to mugs and prints. Their sense of achievement and self-worth this afford to the individuals is immeasurable, coupled with a hefty cut of the profits!

Intertwined with the training is SOLD’S green ethos. SOLD endeavour to reuse and repurpose as much as possible before recycling. So in addition to all the fabulous art, you’ll find decoupaged lamps and furniture from their donations as well as many other repurposed items. Each one is completely unique.

The sensational SOLD studio show invites you into their bold, bright and beautiful world.
