Merry Kitschmas 2026

Walter Wall: What noW?

Crab sat on the doorstep.

He look puzzled.

He thought about the question.

Then,

“Oh Aye”, he said.

“It’s nuts.

Nothing seems the same.

Does anything ever stay constant?

Even the climates changing!”

Walt believes that play is an integral part of creativity.

He messes about with paint and different techniques as a means to expand his visual imagery. He’ll also play with language. Sometimes to help trigger the creative process and at other times develop ideas further.

When completed, his visual imagery and language are then linked in a loose, (often enigmatic), association to tease meaning and thought.

He’s of the opinion that painting is stimulating and good for the soul and everyone should chill, not worry about the outcome but just get stuck in and play/paint.
