The West Sussex Art Society Annual Show is back!
Following the unforeseen late cancellation of last year’s event and after a year of creative activity the WSAS members have signed up to make this a great show. The artwork on display represents the diverse range of talented Amateur, Semi-Professional and Professional artists that make up the Membership.
The Society Members will fill the two gallery spaces with over a hundred pieces of work including paintings, drawings, printmaking, photography, sculpture and ceramics covering a wide variety of subjects and styles. There will be original artworks, prints and greeting cards available to view and buy! You can also see the welcome return of the WSAS “Miniature Gallery” a centre piece displayhoused in a contemporary dolls house interior. Members have created mini 2D and 3D artworks which are available to buy.
The Juliet Pannet Cup, is awarded for the Best Artwork in show and also includes Highly Commended placings. This year West Sussex Art Society are pleased to announce that renowned contemporary artist Chris Gilvan-Cartwright will be the independent judge making the selection.
The Show is open 10.00 – 17.00 every day and will be stewarded by the artists taking part so there will always be someone on hand to discuss their work and the activities of the Society.
“We look forward to meeting you and sharing this exciting event.”
