A festive winter pop up

Our Winter Pop Up is back and this time we’re celebrating the artists and makers that make up the studios here at Colonnade House along with a few of their selected guests. From painters, printmakers, illustrators, textile artists and designers, it will be the perfect opportunity to meet a whole range of Worthing based artists, as well as find some beautiful hand made gifts.

You can also join us on Thursday 11 December, from 17.00 – 19.00, where we’ll be opening our doors for some late night shopping along with First & Last, Chintz and Wood, Handmade by Holly UK & Friends, Little Shop of Jules, Paint a Bag, Sabotage Gallery, Inspired, Bygone Treasures and more.

Meet the artists and makers below;

Esmée Brand
Esmée Brand is a graphic designer with a love of playful illustrations, bright colour palettes, and vintage inspired design.
Esmée tries to bring fun into all her work, often using relatable and humorous quotes on the stickers and badges she sells.
Tangerine Landscape
Mia Bilbeisi

Mia is a West Sussex-based artist currently experimenting with colour, form and texture.

She focuses on the interplay between two and three-dimensional forms, blurring the lines between painting and sculpture. By transforming discarded domestic fabric through dyeing and restitching, Mia gives these unwanted materials new life. The resulting forms loosely reference familiar places and people, but are recontextualised, creating works that are both known and subtly ambiguous.

Tangerine Landscape
Sarah Trowsdale

For the Pop Up shop, Sarah has scaled down her work to focus on  traditional craft techniques such as English Paper Piercing and embroidery, creating a collection of unique, handcrafted pieces that are beautiful and functional.

This intimate collection offers a glimpse into Sarah’s wider artistic practice, which is grounded in cultural and historical research exploring the lives of overlooked women. Through recycled textiles and quilting, she creates dynamic artworks that bring these hidden histories to light.

Wendy will be selling festive decorations and a gift selection for anyone wanting to own or give locally produced artwork that captures the local landscape.

Peon Boyle: Notebook
Peon Boyle

Peon Boyle is a Hong Kong-born British artist working across printmaking, paper-textile sculpture, and installation. Her practice centers on slow, tactile processes from folding to stitching and layering, allowing fragments of memory, presence and absence to take material form. She is drawn to the way ordinary materials such as paper, thread and discarded objects can be transformed into carriers of memory and meaning.
