Creativity is your superpower….in every area of your life. Creativity isn’t something you do, it’s something you are born with, and it touches every area of your life and business. It’s who you are, and how you show up for the world.
In this evening’s keynote session, Kate will help you connect deeper to your BIG, BOLD, BEAUTIFUL self and your creative expression so you can show up more as yourself in life and business in 2023 and beyond.
You will explore Practical Magic, Kate’s blended melting pot of good stuff designed to help you activate empowerment and inner guidance, to get a super-highway connection to your creativity and intuition for true authentic expression in all areas of your work and self expression.
Panelists
Gemma, Two Faced Twins
Stella and Gemma, also known as Two Faced Twins, are identical twin artists from Worthing who create striking artwork for contemporary homes.
Working from their studio on the Sussex coast, Stella creates the initial black and white drawings and Gemma works on them digitally, adding colour and transforming the drawings into large, colourful statement pieces of art, designed to transform a home.
Some of their most popular pieces include scenes of the local area such as Worthing pier, the Dome Cinema and the Sussex Downs. The twins have a stunning contemporary art gallery where you can purchase their framed limited edition prints and giftware. The art gallery is based on Worthing seafront, directly on the promenade, opposite Steyne Gardens.
Anja, Coexist Spaces
Anja is an entrepreneur, digital marketer, and musician with autism and ADHD. She started making music in 2015, built a following, hit one million streams on her first single and has supported big artists including Rag’n’Bone Man and Clean Bandit.
But things took a turn for the worse when a PR investment didn’t pan out, and the stress from the failure of her music led to Anja to hit rock bottom – and she found herself homeless during the peak of the pandemic. With only her laptop, she started looking for ways to make money online and ended up becoming a marketing assistant for a music business coaching company, allowing her to use her knowledge of the music industry.
After struggling to find a working environment that suited her, Anja opened Coexist Spaces in Worthing – a friendly co-working space for creatives. Anja is passionate about supporting creative entrepreneurs, and her autistic person in various corporate workspaces has taught her the value of standing up for yourself and the importance of a supportive community.
Nozzie, Twerk4Fitness Africa
Nozzi is a co-founder of Twerk4Fitness Africa, a creative-preneur, Yogi, and a versatile choreographer. She was born in Lawley, a township in the south of Johannesburg, where she developed her love for dancing. She started teaching online twerk classes during the pandemic, which started getting popular globally. In October 2021, she moved to Lewes, UK, and made it her mission to bring her love of twerking to the community.
Her classes are an opportunity to reclaim the art of twerking as one of body positivity, physical fitness, and women’s empowerment while simultaneously celebrating the dance heritage of Africa and her diaspora. She is passionate about spreading the word and introducing other people to this unique form of self-expression.
Her classes are hosted at ABYSS Brewery & Tap Room, where you can experience a unique dance in a laid-back environment.
Any proceeds from the event will be donated to Safe in Sussex, a local charity supporting women through domestic violence.
