Wonderful World, addresses the climate crisis – an issue which affects all our lives. In 2019, Adur District and Worthing Borough Council declared a climate emergency and we know that the public are eager for more debate and information about the issue. Art allows people to feel things in a way that often written information doesn’t.
We want to engage visitors in this, sometimes difficult, subject matter and hope it may also inspire people to think up their own creative responses. The aim of the exhibition is to show how unique and beautiful our world is and remind people that we can all play a part in protecting it. The venue is accessible for all and there will be a variety of artistic approaches and mediums; such as textiles, film, photography, installation, printmaking, painting and sculpture.
