We begin 2020 with talks and workshops to inspire you, a public consultation about the future development of Colonnade House to get you thinking, a new round of funding for creative projects, a chance to gain insight into digital technology and the return of Films on the Gallery Wall.
Colonnade House is a hub for what’s happening in Worthing and we look forward to growing bigger and even better in the 2020s – join in with our programme and be part of it too.
Adur & Worthing Trust Creative Commissions 2020
Applications open from 1 January
Adur & Worthing Trust announce a new round of Creative Commissions with two briefing events and a showcase of the 2019 projects that were supported.
You could apply for up to £500, or one of three 3D printers for a creative project in 2020. Check out the full details and criteria for making applications.

Announcing the first round of Superfused Awards, this introductory session will give an overview of everything you need to know.

The first of two sessions looking in more depth at the people and projects that are providing the inspiration for DRIVA projects, Mike Herd, Director of the Sussex Innovation Centre from 1997 – 2019, will be sharing the stories of data-driven businesses that have grown from the germ of an idea into something much bigger.

Experiencing Data: Sensory Data Mapping

Artist Clare Plumley collects smiles and other sensory data. How is it possible to look at our emotional communication as data, and what does it tell us about ourselves and others? Find out how Clare uses sensory data as part of her art practice, and try some practical fieldwork as part of the session.

If the idea of setting up an Instagram account, or Facebook page fills you with fear, join local artist Nicky Bell who will dispel your dread and get you started with social media. Your ticket for this friendly evening includes a glass of wine and time for networking.
