July at Colonnade House
The beach is a frequent source of inspiration in July. Following a seaweed-themed weekend on Worthing promenade there will be seaweed-pressed artworks with Pier Road Coffee & Art and a collection of lighting and furniture created with recycled materials by the East Beach Studios artists. Durrington High School will also return with their annual GCSE art show and you can learn everything you’ve ever wanted to know about climate change with Worthing Climate Action Network’s pop-up event.

Mike La-Traille: Las Callejuelas

Take a wander round the backstreets of Barcelona through the eyes of Mike La-Traille. He is drawn to the life beyond the well-known tourist hot-spots of the Ramblas and Parc Guell and his photographs capture the atmosphere of this city perfectly.
Shireen Avis: Boot Polish Painter

Interesting art often results from working with limited materials and Shireen Avis has set herself a unique challenge by choosing boot polish as her medium. Mixing clear polish with pigments she creates subtle images of seashores and landscapes.

Worthing Climate Action Network are holding a two-day pop-up event called Climate Conversations, providing space for people to ask and find out anything about climate change and its potential impacts.

The Worthing Creature Trail 2019

Something for the summer holidays – a new trail around town! The event begins each day at 11am where you can collect a trail map card at Montague Place (Outside Vision Express), and navigate your way around the town centre to find whimsical beasts made by Magic Alley Prop Shop.
