This September, we’re bringing you a variety of events from networking, talks with Inside Publications, surgery sessions with Arts Council England as well as creative workshops with Hello DODO.

Creatives Network Lunch
Monday 4 September // 13.00 – 13.30 // Free
If you are a creative living and working in Worthing, join the Colonnade House team and studio members for an informal networking lunch.
This will be a free event with hot drinks and snacks.
Print Media for Artist Promotion: Making An Impact in the Community with Inside Publications
Tuesday 5 September // 11.00 – 12.30 // Free
Join Liana and Esme from Inside Publications as they talk through tips and tricks of print media and publicity in a free workshop.
Expect to learn about the impact of print media, understand print costs and the limitations of publications and how to craft an effective press-release.

How to Apply to Arts Council England’s National Lottery Project Grants
Wednesday 6 September // 11.30 – 13.30 // Free
Relationships manager Dulcie Alexander and Michael Cook from Arts Council England will be running an introductory session, offering advice on applying for funding from ACE.
The session will cover new guidance for applicants, useful tips and things to remember to create strong applications, insight into our other funding stream, Developing Your Creative Practice as well as a Q&A after the presentation.

Hello DODO Printing Weekend
Saturday 9 & Sunday 10 September // 10.00 – 16.00
hello DODO is a colourful, pun loving indie business from Worthing, with a focus on ethical unisex clothing for adults and kids screen printed in their Studio & Shop on Tarring Road.
Join the team on the 9th and 10th of September anytime between 10.30am and 12pm for our screenprinting fun workshop “Pull a Funny Face”. In this workshop you choose your own paper stencil shapes to build your own funny face which you then get to pull as your very own screenprint with some guidance from hello DODO’s Jam.
The creative fun doesn’t stop there! Between 1pm and 4pm they will be hosting the much loved BADGE CLUB at Colonnade House!
