After a successful Christmas concert, the dementia friendly choir ‘Stay Vocal’ will be rehearsing & performing to commemorate the Coronation of King Charles III, alongside sketch shows & intergenerational performances with local schools. 

About 

Worthing Dementia Hub, part of Dementia Friendly Worthing, has a vision to create an inclusive dementia friendly community where people living with dementia, and their family carers, are active participants within the community. To create a place where people with dementia can remain independent and have choice and control over their lives within a safe and rewarding supportive environment.

The ‘Stay Vocal’ choir group was set up in 2022, with regular rehearsals sessions for a Christmas Concert, Many people who supporting & delivering the choir have lived experience of dementia & Alzheimers. The choir will be accompanied by local students, choir groups & performances, poetry & readings from Worthing Town Cryers. Light refreshments will follow at the Community Cafe.
