Anthony Bennett returns to Colonnade House with his expressive abstract paintings.

Showcasing a new body of work, Anthony has been exploring a re-interpretation of the Still Life as well as creating some smaller landscape paintings. Intrigued by the texture and fluidity of oil paint, Anthony sometimes uses his hands instead of brushes to create his pieces.

Discover some of the work that goes on in the Drawing Room sessions by the tutors and students. From two minute sketches, to paintings that have taken hours to complete, this exhibition showcases the range of experimentation, dedication and inspired thinking of what goes on within the creative community.

Drawing Room was setup by Wendy Barratt in the spring of 2016 to bring regular life drawing sessions to her hometown of Worthing. Since then, the life drawing community has grown, and Drawing Room now has four tutors who bring these sessions to Worthing every week.

These tutors are Wendy Barratt, Martina Ziewe, Cecilia Lewis & Helen Masacz.
