We’re pleased to be taking part in this year’s Worthing Art Trail bringing you some inspiring exhibitions across both weekends. Read on to find out more about what exhibitions will be on across both weekends and see which of our studio members will be opening their doors.
This year’s Art Trail sees 56 venues taking part, so pick up a brochure and start planning your way around Worthing.
Week One
Clare Buckle: Holding Space
15 – 20 September 2026 // 10.00 – 17.00
Painter and Printmaker Clare Buckle, explores monolithic industrial buildings throughout her practice, captured using variations of colour that allow her to explore mood and atmosphere within her work.

Katie Cox: The Designed Environment and The Art of Looking
15 – 20 September 2026 // 10.00 – 17.00
Having recently graduatde from Fine Art at Northbrook, Katie Cox will be having her first solo exhibition at Colonnade House that presents her work made whilst studying.

Week Two
UnSeen 2025
22 – 27 September 2026 // 10.00 – 17.00
Expect paintings, pewterware, wood turned lamps, jewellery and ceramics as five artists come together to showcase their unique ways of working. Come and meet Jane Denman, Lorraine Gibby, Fleur Grenier, Anna Cates and Jessica Jordan during the second weekend of Worthing Art Trail.
Bryony Shearmur: Cheap Sheets and Soiled Smalls
22 – 27 September 2026 // 10.00 – 17.00
Cheap Sheets and Soiled Smalls is a series of nine hand-embroidered works made on hospital blankets completed between May 2016 and March 2019. Each piece takes the form of a letter or essay responding to a specific chapter, relationship or internal reckoning.
Bryony will be showing This One’s For You, a single work from the Cheap Sheets and Soiled Smalls series. The piece combines text and textile to tell the story of a love remembered long after it has ended.
Studio 2: Sarah Sepe
Sarah is an artist and maker working across a variety of mediums. Since moving to the Studios, Sarah has been making crepe paper flowers alongside abstract paintings, drawings and prints that are inspired by her garden.

Studio 3: Carole Waller
Both weekends // 11.00 – 17.00
Carole Waller moved to the Colonnade House studios this year and is a painter known best for her work in textile media. She makes paintings and prints and painted and printed scarves.
Carole will also be inviting two jewellery artists, Sarah Packington and Jenny Turtill to join in her in the studio across both weekends.
Sarah Packington creates colourful contemporary perspex and silver jewellery.
Jenny Turtill uses the cuttlefish casting technique to make pieces with metal and stone.
Studio 4: Alison Tyldesley
Saturday 26 & Sunday 27 September // 11.00 – 17.00
Alison is a contemporary landscape artist working primarily in acrylics on canvas, aiming to capture intense light and atmosphere in her work. More recently, Alison has been focusing on colourful mixed media still lifes and landscapes that include collage, paint, gelli printing and stencilling.
