This May Half Term you can get creative and book onto one or more of our family friendly workshops. The workshops are free but where possible, we’re asking for donations towards Adur & Worthing Trust to help run future workshops and events.

Half Term Group Painting
Wednesday 27 May // 10.00 – 13.30 // Free
Join the Colonnade House team and local artist Liz English for a group painting session in the gallery.
Starting with a blank canvas, together you will create a giant collaborative masterpiece. Using paint, ink & pen, families can join in the fun, and work together to unleash their inner Picasso.
Drop in across the session, stay as little or as long as you want and help add to the piece. Let us know you are coming by booking your space here. You can drop in anytime between 10.30 – 13.30.
Choir in a Day: Don’t Worry Be Happy
Wednesday 27 May // 14.00 – 16.00 // Free
Learn, rehearse and perform a song as part of a choir – all in an afternoon. Whether you’re a seasoned singing professional or just love singing in the shower, all ages and abilities are welcome at Choir in a Day.
Guided by award-winning musical theatre performer Amelia Ace Armande, the group will get to know each other and go through vocal warm up games in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. You will work together building up confidence in tunes and harmonies, leading up to a final performance of Don’t Worry Be happy by Bobby McFerrin.
Cut & Stick: Kids Collage Workshop

Start your Thursday morning with our Cut & Stick Kids Collage workshop.
Through cutting, sticking and arranging, you’ll be able to create your own colourful artwork using magazine cut outs and coloured card in a relaxed environment.

We’re running another one this May Half Term where we’ll take you through the steps of what it takes to plan, market, curate and prepare for a solo or group exhibition.
Whether you’re planning an upcoming exhibition at Colonnade House or would like to plan one in the future, this informal session will gear you up and leave you with all the information you need to successfully prepare for your exhibition or event.
Pigeon Printing with hello DODO
Friday 29 – Sunday 31 May // 12.00 – 16.00 // Drop-in
Come along and add to the flock! Design and screenprint your very own pigeon print with hello DODO’s Squeegee Club and help to celebrate these wonderful, under appreciated birds.
With support from hello DODO, you will design and screen print one pigeon print to take with you and one to be included in the exhibition “The Cats Amongst The Pigeons”.
The session is pay what you can with a suggested donation of £5.
