March exhibitions and events!

Wonderful World
3 – 8 March // 10.00 – 17.00 // Free entry

The wonderful world around us has always been a source of inspiration for artists and this show is both a celebration of the infinite wonders of nature and a rallying call to action to protect the planet that we depend on. Organised by Worthing Climate Action, the exhibition includes work by Barry Williams, Pip Carter, Sarah Sepe and more.

Kathryn Best, Rhianna Wass & Victoria Waldron
10 – 14 March // 10.00 – 17.00 // Free entry

This trio of artists are all in the final year of their fine art degrees at Northbrook MET. With contrasting styles and interests, they are collaborating on this show to present work that is both observant and emotionally charged, proving once more how art is essential in helping us to navigate the ups and downs of life.

Mark Humphreys & Carolyn McConnell: Freestyle
10 – 14 March // 10.00 – 17.00 // Free entry

Remember the winning sculpture at the 2019 Worthing Light Festival? Mark is the artist who created it, and he is joined by Carolyn McConnell to present work in a range of mediums that draws inspiration from masters of expressive art such as Basquiat, Kandinsky and Heron.

Anna Vartiainen: Monster Trees & Other Stories
17 – 28 March // 10.00 – 17.00 // Free entry

Who doesn’t remember a childhood moment where the trees seemed to be alive? Anna’s childhood summers in the Finnish forests have inspired a lifelong love of the outdoors and its imaginative possibilities. Her atmospheric scenes are reminiscent of folk tales, and they are titled accordingly. This will be the first time Anna has shown all her working paintings and drawings together, and she will be continuing to create more in the gallery during the show.
