Autumn sweeps in with a blast of colour and celebration – we have exhibitions by West Sussex Art Society and Creative Waves, and kick off October with an ambitious 24-Hour novel writing project – read on to find out more! By the end of the month we hope our gallery will be back to its usual self again when our windows are finally repaired. Our temporary hoardings are looking great though, with a snazzy makeover from Sam Murdoch.
A Wave of Creative Energy – Celebrating 10 Years of Creative Waves
Exhibition // 5 – 10 October // 10.00 – 17.00 daily // Plus free workshops
Nessy and Nadia are a wave of creative energy in themselves as you’ll see from this look back over ten years of creative projects across Worthing which include the fabulous decorative glass panels on the pier, murals and outdoor artwork in gardens and parks. You can get involved in creating their latest mosaic piece for the Bug Cycle garden (booking essential) or drop in at any time to join the collaborative art activities which are one of this year’s Creative Commissions. Save some energy to enjoy the exhibition of artwork that Nessy and Nadia make themselves – sculptures from found materials and abstract mixed media paintings.
