From familiar faces, to those exhibiting with us for the first time, there’s lots of exhibitions to look forward to this Spring.
Mark Munroe – Preston: Treescapes

Mark Munroe – Preston is back with his latest exhibition Treescapes. Mark’s work encompasses photography, painting and collage to create atmospheric pictures inspired by his interactions with nature. He works from an expansive collection of original landscape photography, each piece involving a process working with, painting, textures and digital manipulation to evoke the beauty and drama of the scene.
Piers Ottey: Composition and Culture
Exhibition // 11 – 15 April // 10.00 – 17.00
Having exhibited his work in many countries including Germany, Paris and London, Piers Ottey joins us for his first exhibition here at Colonnade House. Much of Piers’ painting is a result of his love of travelling, both at home in the UK and abroad. Recent visits to Singapore, New Zealand and the coast of Cornwall have resulted in an arresting new body of work, engaging dramatic natural compositions and cultures.
Rosemary Jones: Fabric Printing with Linoblocks
Exhibition // 11 – 15 April // 10.00 – 17.00
Rosemary Jones is an artist specialising in linocut printmaking. The main focus of Rosemary’s prints on paper is the landscape of the Downs in West Sussex and views around Worthing where she lives. You’ll be able to find Rosemary Jones in the gallery demonstrating block cutting with lino tools, where she will be printing these onto fabric and making lampshades.
West Sussex Art Society 2023
Exhibition // 18 – 23 April // 10.00 – 17.00
West Sussex Art Society are back for their annual group show. Featuring work from members across the county, they will be coming together this April to showcase their talents. Expect lots of variety that reflects the diverse and artistic range of creativity from its members. The Annual Show is a great opportunity to meet the artists who will be stewarding each day and to find out more about West Sussex Art Society, and of course see and buy some great artwork!
Kitty Shepherd: Lolly Pup

Ceramic artist Kitty Shepherd is bringing something exciting to Worthing this Spring! Kitty Shepherd will be taking over the gallery for seven days as part of a creative project organised by Julia’s House, a children’s hospice charity to raise essential funds. Pop into the gallery to see Kitty and find out what she’ll be up to.
Hattie Lockhart – Smith: The Ups on the Downs

During lockdown, Hattie Lockhart – Smith spent time taking photos and making sketches inspired by the South Downs. The Ups on the Downs is a series of mixed media works reflecting the benefits of spending time outdoors for both physical and mental wellbeing.
