We’re celebrating 10 years of Colonnade House and we’d love for you to join us!

Across the week we’re going to be celebrating with an alumni exhibition, Studio Member collaborations and free workshops and events from storytelling with Amelia Ace Armande & Tom McNally, to drop-in mark making with Nora Young and Wendy Palmer, a workshop with Peon Boyle and drop in birthday card making workshop for kids.

This celebration has been supported by Worthing Community Chest Grants for Growth.

Finding the Creative Path with Peon Boyle

Tuesday 29 September // 10.00 – 13.00 // Free

3 hours interactive session including artist talk, questions and conversations.

A Playful conversation about Finding the Creative Path is an interactive artist conversation reflecting on Peon Boyle’s creative journey, from beginning with a table and a chair at the top floor of Colonnade House, to developing a creative practice today. Using her experience as a starting point, the session explores how creative paths develop through curiosity, experimentation, detours, persistence and play. Rather than presenting a conventional artist talk or skills-based workshop, it invites a broader conversation about what it means to develop and sustain a creative life.

Why Worthing is the Cultural Centre of the Known Universe

Tuesday 29 September // 17.00 – 19.00 // Free

Why Worthing Is The Cultural Centre Of The Known Universe is a playful, celebratory and probably only occasionally evidence-based conversation about the extraordinary creative life of a changing town – the artists, musicians, designers, writers, performers, producers, venues, oddballs, instigators and ideas that are making Worthing what it is.

Hosted by Always Possible founder Richard Freeman, and 12-years Worthingite –  we’ll bring together a brilliant collection of people who have helped shape Worthing’s cultural life.
