Dylan & Adrienne Shields: Shaped

Exhibiting together, Adrienne and Dylan Shields, are mother and son. Shaped. Dylan Shields new work focuses on sculpture, investigating the relationship between traditional narrative painting and contemporary materials. Adrienne Shields, new work focuses on ceramics and painting, using pattern and texture she invents an intriguing and imaginative world full of birds, fish and people.
Liz English: Chinoiserie Chaos

Local artist, Liz English is exhibiting her collection of work ‘Chinoiserie Chaos’. Never intended as minimal, this collection is bursting with life. Expect to see willow pattern vases overflowing with flowers that are painted in acrylic, and embellished with collage and embroidery. Come and experience the unadulterated joy of Chinoiserie Chaos that will be filling the gallery with joy this Autumn.
Ruth Mulvie X Claire Knill

This exhibition brings together the work of two female British artists, Ruth Mulvie and Claire Knill. Both Ruth and Claire share a preoccupation with colour and light. Come and enjoy the sculptural and kinetic works of Claire, along with the painting and print work of Ruth’s. Claire will be hosting a Mindful Mobile Making workshop on the 16th November.

Murmurations / Conversations
22 – 27 November 2022 // 10.00 – 17.00 // Free
Frankie Cluney and Amanda Beck come together as old friends from their ‘Drawing Circus’ days to celebrate creativity through collaboration and conversation. Taking inspiration from the starlings murmurations, the artists will interpret this through paintings, accessories and jewellery.
Brian Tew & Deborah Mitchelson: Capturing Nature in Surface and Form
22 November – 4 December // 10.00 – 17.00 // Free
Brian Tew and Deborah Mitchelson’s joint exhibition ‘Capturing Nature in Surface and Form’ is a natural progression of the shared creative space they have used for the last ten years. Their work compliments and contrasts one another. Expect to see Deborah’s landscapes inspired by her trip to the Arctic Circle. You will also find Brian’s ceramics and sculptures that are mainly unplanned, intuitive and eclectic.
Elizabeth Mienert: Musing & Meandering

Elizabeth Mienert’s upcoming exhibition brings together a rich body of work, focusing on her watercolour sketches taken directly from her travel sketchbooks. Be transported through the diverse landscapes of Europe and America, this autumn at Colonnade House.
