The team at Colonnade House are gearing up for another Professional Development week of activity. Discover funding opportunities through the Arts Council England, join an interactive day with Shake It Up Creative! to learn about SEO and Instagram Reels. Join in on a talk and workshop event by Lorna Allan & Jhinuk Sarkar all about neurodiversity and the creative industries and end the week getting creative trying out laser cutters & 3D printers in our popular Space to Make Sessions.

Rajini Gundavarapu: Paints & Patterns

Having relocated from India in 2012 and settled in the beautiful and peaceful town of Worthing, Rajini Gundavarapu loves being able to look at the beautiful flowers from the garden, gazing at the colourful and picturesque landscapes and capturing them in their artwork. Rajini has grown to adore the beauty of nature and its vibrant colours which have become the inspiration to create art.
INK by Sussex Printmakers 2022

Sussex Printmakers are a group of artists who use ink, paper or press to create their work through different methods. Using Lino cut, mono printing, etching, screen printing & more. This exhibition is to showcase printmaking and spread their passion for this versatile medium and to the local community.
This exhibition will feature work by: Peon Boyle, Steve Carroll, Annie Cross, Vicky Gomez, Sue Hawksworth, Mark Hulme, Suzyriot, Rosemary Jones, Pauline Murray, Hattie Lockhart-Smith, Shirley Watson, Julia White and Anna Vartiainen.
Creative Waves: The Garden Room
20 – 25 September 2022 // 10.00 – 17.00 // Free
Creative Waves Community Arts is hosting a collaborative exhibition inspired by their community garden in Beach House Park.
Featuring artwork from Creative Waves artists Nadia Chalk & Vanessa Breen, the pair will also be working with graduates and volunteers to design an immersive ‘Green Space’ using artwork, sculpture and plants.
Free, creative workshops, during the exhibition, will enable the public to make their ‘mark in the park’ by adding colourful designs to garden features.
Mary Fivey: Impermanence

Mary Fivey is a Worthing based artist from Fermanagh, Ireland. She has been living in Worthing for the last five years and has become obsessed with the local landscape.
Living so near to the beach has been a never ending source of inspiration in her artwork. Mary believes that accepting impermanence helps to cultivate positive well-being.
Shona Macdonald: Work in Progress

Photo Fringe 2022: REAL UTOPIAS

Colonnade House is working in partnership with Photo Fringe for another year, and are looking for photographers or photography collectives to showcase a new project at Worthing’s creative hub for a month long residency. Covering the Photo Fringe 2022 theme ‘Real Utopias’.
Included in the opportunity is;
– Opportunity for a photographer or photography collective to showcase a new project under the theme ‘Real Utopias’.
– Exhibit at Colonnade House during October 2022.
– Use of both gallery spaces.
– Huge discount on hire rate.
– Support from staff to install and promote the exhibition.
