Applications for 2023 are now closed.
The Creative Commissions 2023 grants programme launches this week with an exhibition at Colonnade House and a live introduction to the scheme from Karen Simporis, Chair of Adur & Worthing Trust.
You can apply for grants of between £500 and £1000 for your project. Final decisions about awards will be made on the basis of the criteria here and also in the judges’ view the best use of our limited funds.
Take a look at the projects that were funded by Adur & Worthing Trust in the last round of Creative Commissions in 2022 – the exhibition at Colonnade House will be on view from 24 January – 4 February.
Adur & Worthing Trust hope to support at least ten creative projects in Adur & Worthing in 2023. To be able to apply you must be based in Adur or Worthing and your creative project must be shared with the public in some way. Worthing Festival Award
The Adur & Worthing Trust are interested in supporting the inaugural Worthing Festival. In 2023, the Trust has set aside £500 – £1000 for a new project, to take place at Colonnade House. The project must meet the criteria and take place during Worthing Festival 2023. The Festival takes place 10 – 18 June 2023.
The Worthing Festival Award includes a waived hire charge of both gallery spaces. Successful applicants must provide Public Liability Insurance (up to £5m) and sign a hire agreement but we are happy to meet and explain any aspect of the hire. Must be available for install on 12 June & de-install on 19 June.
